When you distribute your music to Meta (Instagram and Facebook) through Too Lost, your releases become available for use in content across both platforms. Meta offers two key ways your music can generate earnings: the Meta Audio Library and Meta Rights Manager.
Meta Audio Library
Distributing your release to Meta adds your music to the searchable Meta Audio Library, allowing users to easily include your songs in their Reels, Stories, and other content.
Meta sends payments for the use of your music through their audio library, and 100% of those earnings are deposited directly into your Too Lost Wallet. Keep in mind, royalties are calculated based on the number of videos that use your music, not the number of views those videos receive.
Meta Rights Manager
Meta Rights Manager is a content protection tool that helps safeguard your intellectual property on Facebook and Instagram. It automatically identifies matches to your original recordings and gives you control over how those matches are handled.
When Meta detects your music in videos, Rights Manager allows you to:
- Monetize the content (earn revenue from its use)
- Track where and how your music is being used
- Block unauthorized uses if desired
Revenue generated from the use of your music identified by Meta Rights Manager is sent to Too Lost on your behalf, and 100% of those earnings are deposited directly into your Too Lost Wallet.
