The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States federal law designed to combat copyright infringement. It makes it illegal to create, distribute, or use technology that circumvents measures intended to control access to copyrighted works.
The DMCA also prohibits the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material and specifically addresses piracy of music, film, and software.
If someone distributed your music without your permission, please see our Help Center article here: Someone Else Distributed My Music. What Can I Do?
