The Greenlist allows you to grant permission to approved accounts to use your content that’s protected by content identification systems in various services. This is also known as whitelisting or allowlisting.
When an account is greenlisted, content uploads from that account will not be flagged or blocked by copyright detection tools in supported services.
When to Greenlist Your Own Account
If your release was delivered through Too Lost, you might receive a copyright notice when you upload your content. Don’t worry, as this does not negatively affect your account. The notice simply informs you that your track is protected under content identification.
To resolve this, add your own account to the Greenlist. Once your request is processed, wait a few hours, then re-upload the content.
You can submit Greenlist requests for the following services:
- YouTube: We can only greenlist YouTube channels, not individual videos.
- SoundCloud: All accounts can be greenlisted.
- Facebook: We can only greenlist Facebook Pages, not personal profiles.
- Instagram: All accounts can be greenlisted.
-
TikTok: We can only greenlist TikTok Business accounts, as they can otherwise only use music from TikTok’s Commercial Music Library.
- Artist and Personal accounts already have access to all official audios delivered to TikTok by Too Lost.
