Too Lost partners with Veriff to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and to protect our platform from fraudulent activity.
If your identity is unconfirmed or certain information is flagged, this can result in an onboarding hold or account restriction. To provide more transparency, here’s a breakdown of the verification statuses Veriff sends us and what they mean for your account:
Verification Status Types
- Approved: Your identity has been successfully verified by Veriff. No further action is required.
- Declined: Your verification was unsuccessful due to suspected fraud or another serious issue. Accounts with this status are blocked from using the platform unless a manual override is applied by Too Lost.
- Resubmitted: Your verification process is incomplete. Some information or steps were missing, and you need to complete the verification process again.
- Expired: A verification session expires 7 days after creation if no conclusive decision is reached or if it was never accessed. You will need to create a new session if you wish to try again.
-
Abandoned: Similar to expired, this status applies if the process was started but not completed within 7 days. You will need to create a new session to continue verification.
