Artificial streams violate the rules of all major streaming platforms and can have serious consequences, including track removal, loss of royalties, and potential suspension of your Too Lost account for repeated violations. We understand this may have occurred without any intentional wrongdoing on your part. However, decisions made by services like Spotify are final, and we are currently unable to dispute penalties related to artificial streaming.
That being said, you can re-upload your release to services as long as you follow the steps outlined below.
How to Re-Upload a Release Taken Down for Artificial Streaming
- Start a new upload of the release.
- In the Release Information section, only select the stores/services where the original release has been removed. Exclude any platforms where the original release is still live.
-
Click Manually select Stores/Services, then click Select Stores/Services on the right side of the screen.
-
Click the Excluded button, then click the checkbox next to Include all.
- Click the checkbox next to the stores/services where the release was removed from.
-
Once you get to the Manage Tracks section of the Uploader, do not input an ISRC under Track Information. This will generate a new ISRC and reset streaming data.
