If you’ve distributed a release and want it removed, you can request a takedown directly from your Too Lost account.
If you would like to remove your release from specific services, please create an Other Reason ticket through the Support portal of your Too Lost account.
If you only need to edit your release, you can do so without issuing a takedown. For more information, please see our Help Center article here: How Do I Edit My Release?
How to Take Down a Release
To request a takedown, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Releases tab in your Too Lost account.

Click the ⦸ (Takedown) icon under the release you would like to take down.
- Confirm your takedown request.
This process can take 2-7 business days once your takedown request has been processed, depending on store policies. If your release is still live after two weeks, please create an Other Reason ticket through the Support portal of your Too Lost account.
After the Takedown
Once a release has been fully removed from all services, it will remain in your catalog with the status Taken Down. This ensures we can continue to collect any outstanding royalty payments on your behalf.
