You must specify the name of the Label of your record or album respectively for each album.
Own label
If your album is not linked to any record label, you can specify a custom label name or alias (such as your artist name) of your choice in this field. Make sure that the name provided is not misleading or deceptive, nor violate the laws of intellectual property.
In order to distribute your release to Beatport, you need to do one of the following:
If you do not have a custom Beatport Label Page
Enter the default label name "Too Lost LLC" in the Uploader. Your release will be added to the Too Lost Beatport label page.
An artist page will automatically be created for you. For information about how to update your Beatport artist page, please see our Help Center article here: How Do I Edit My Beatport Artist or Label Page?
Apply for a Beatport Label Page
You must plan to release at least 10 releases every 6 months to maintain a Beatport channel.
Only releases listed under your approved label will be distributed to Beatport. Each label requires a separate application.
You can apply for a Beatport label page by creating an Other Reason ticket through the Support portal of your Too Lost account.
Transfer Your Existing Beatport Label Page
Beatport only allows for one distributor per label page. In order for us to deliver to your pre-existing Beatport label page, you will need to transfer the label page from your previous distributor to Too Lost.
If you’d like Too Lost to initiate the label transfer on your behalf, please submit an Other Reason request through the Support portal in your account and include the following information:
Label name
Beatport label page URL
Name of your previous distributor
Label name length
The name of a label should not be too large, otherwise it may cause metadata conflict for some channels.
