For example, if your artist name appears on your cover art as “Chris Robley & the Fear of Heights,” that exact name must also appear in your submission, not just “Chris Robley.”
Any discrepancies may cause confusion for listeners and retailers. Our digital partners require that all delivered content be an exact match.

Artist Name
- The spelling, capitalization, and formatting of the artist name on your cover art must match exactly with the artist name entered in your submission.
- Any additional performing artists shown on the cover art must be credited and added as a primary or featured artist on the album or the specific tracks they perform on.
- Artists listed as “featuring” or “with” on the cover art must be credited as featured artists on at least one track, using the same spelling and formatting.
Album or Single Title
- The spelling, capitalization, and formatting of the album or single title on your cover art must match exactly with the title entered in your submission.
- Any version information (e.g., Remix, Radio Version, Acoustic Version) appearing on the cover art must also be included in the album or single title field of your submission.
Language
- All text on the cover art must appear in a single language.
- The language and characters used on your cover art must match the album language indicated in your submission.
- For example, if your cover art text is in Greek characters, your submission must also use Greek characters.
- Likewise, if you select Spanish as the album language, the text on your cover art must be in Spanish.
- The cover art and metadata must use the same language and character set. For instance, if your metadata text is in English characters, the artwork cannot be exclusively in Japanese or Greek characters.
