The Facebook/Instagram music library allows users to feature your music in their posts, Stories, and Reels. Too Lost automatically delivers your release to this library unless you choose to exclude it during the upload process. Once delivered, your release should appear in the Facebook and Instagram music library within a few days.
Please note that this library is separate from Meta Rights Manager, which has additional content requirements. For more information, please see our Help Center article here: Meta Rights Manager Explained
How to Find Your Release
- Open Instagram and go to the Stories or Reels section.
- Tap the Music sticker to search for your release by artist name or track title.
- If you can’t find it, search using the ISRC format:
- ISRC:(paste ISRC here)
For more information about locating your ISRC, please see our Help Center article here: Where Can I Find My ISRC?
If Your Release Isn’t Showing Up
If your release isn’t appearing or has disappeared from Instagram’s music library:
- Navigate to the Support portal of your Too Lost account
- Create a Content Redelivery ticket.
Important
- If you distribute a new version of your track to Instagram/Facebook (for example, a remix or derivative work), the previous version will automatically be removed by Meta, per their internal policies.
- If you’d like the previous version to remain available, please submit a Content Redelivery through the Support portal of your Too Lost account.
- Too Lost cannot deliver custom timestamps to Meta products. Meta uses an algorithm to determine the “best” segment of a song based on user engagement.
- The starting point of your track may shift over time as more users interact with it.
